Anja Wrede of Hase Bikes USA and John Brunow of All Ability Cycles, LLC will be attending the Iowa Bike Expo on January 27, 2018. They will have the Hase Pino, Kettwiesel, Trigo and Kettwiesel hand cycles on hand. We invite you to stop by booth 331-335 to check out these great bikes!
The Iowa Bike Expo is free-to-the-public one day event, hosting over 5,000 people interested in cycling destinations, gear, bikes and more. Educational seminars will be offered on bike advocacy, consumer trends, and new places to ride, and exhibitors from across the country will be in attendance offering products and information on trails, events and equipment. In addition, the Expo hosts the 2018 RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party at 7pm. This event will feature the announcement of the overnight towns on the RAGBRAI route for 2018, as well as a silent auction, music, free beverage (while supplies last), and a free collectible pint glass.
RAGBRAI (The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) is a seven day bicycle ride across Iowa, held every year during the last full week of July. It is the oldest, largest and longest recreational bicycle touring event in the world - this will be the event’s 46th year! Dubbed a “rolling celebration,” this event attracts participants from all 50 states and a variety of foreign countries. There are seven days of riding, averaging about 67 miles each day. The route traverses the state from west to east, from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River. The route changes each year. Each day, a different town along the route serves as a host community for overnight stays. Participants can apply to ride the entire week, or enter for daily rider wristbands. Because of the popularity of the event, riders must apply to participate and will be chosen by lottery.
