New products & innovations from Hase Bikes on display at Eurobike

Updates from Eurobike 2019

Anja Wrede of Hase Bikes USA traveled to Germany for Eurobike 2019 to check out the latest in cycling innovation, including the new Hase TRETS recumbent trike for kids. 

The TRETS has been completely redesigned, incorporating some of the easy-adjust and ergonomic features of the TRIGO, including seat height adjustment and frame length adjustment. Below seat steering is now standard, but for those who prefer the higher handlebars, that's still available. The frame is lower to make getting on and off the trike easier, and the chain is now completely covered for safety. As always, a quick-connect trailer hitch comes with every TRETS. New sticker sets add a little "bling" to customize your ride.

New accessories include:

• a flag with telescoping pole that fits on all Hase trikes
• a steerable guide bar for TRETS & TRIGO that allows you to push and steer from the rear
• a new Nexus Nabe gear hub that adjusts between fixed and free wheel operation (available March 2020)
• a new parking brake system, compatible with hydraulic brake systems, with an easy to use lever for one-handed operation. 

New features on the Hase PINO:

• a new suspension fork on the front wheel, offering more stability, suspension travel and adjustment
• a new STEPS computer holder located near the left hand for more convenient access
• new Tektro brakes with thicker discs and a bigger gap between brake pad and discs, designed for heavy duty use (cargo bikes, tandems, etc.)
• adjustments to the gear shifter to make it easier to use and enable more precise shifting.
