Recumbent trikes are an increasingly popular option for recreation and mobility in the US, and we’re excited to share with you our “all star” lineup of delta recumbents! Each of the bikes below has its own benefits and unique style - you’re sure to find one that fits your lifestyle and needs.
TRIGOAs the newest delta recumbent trikes in the Hase Bikes lineup, the TRIGO offers flexibility and fun at an affordable price. The flexibility of this recumbent can’t be beat - lightning fast adjustments allow for riders from 4’7” to 6’7” tall to share in the triking experience. In addition to easy length adjustments without tools, the TRIGO makes tailoring handlebar positions and seat angles to any preference a snap.
The low position of the seat between the rear wheels makes the TRIGO extremely stable, and the single wheel in front guarantees outstanding agility - the perfect combination for confident cornering. The TRIGO’s 24 gears mean you can comfortably and confidently enjoy speeding down the straightaway, or up and down hills… or anywhere you choose to go. TRIGO UPThe TRIGO UP offers the same nimble and affordable platform as the TRIGO, but offers the additional comfort and familiarity of above-seat steering - a first in our trike lineup. Of course, the TRIGO’s famous adjustability extends to this steering innovation - handlebar height and angle, as well as distance from the rider, can be quickly adjusted without tools. If you’ve been wanting to try out the stability of a recumbent trike but are happier with upright bike steering, the TRIGO UP has you covered. An additional benefit you’ll appreciate in any of our recumbent trikes: you always have a comfy seat to enjoy breaks on your cycling adventures!
Both the TRIGO and TRIGO UP recumbent trikes can be retrofitted with a Shimano STEPS motor for a little extra “oomph” on the hills and a few extra miles on your ride. Optional roller bags and baskets let you bring along anything you might need for a great adventure, or provide the space you need to bring home all your shopping finds. KETTWIESEL EVO STEPSThe KETTWIESEL EVO STEPS is our “luxury class” delta recumbent trike, offering superior comfort and sportiness. This trike comes equipped with a Shimano STEPS e-motor and an 8-speed, electronic, internally geared hub that coordinates perfectly with the motor for smooth and seamless power assist. You can easily switch between manual and automatic modes with a touch of a button.
The suspension on the EVO STEPS recumbent trike is out of this world, including an independent wheel suspension, air shocks, and cornering-stability control like a car. The EVO STEPS proves a sporty ride doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. Another key feature of the EVO STEPS is its compact folded size for easy storage and transport - three quick steps fold this trike into a 38 inch package you can fit just about anywhere. KETTWIESEL CROSSThe KETTWIESEL CROSS is the recumbent trike for off-road fun, bringing the adrenaline of mountain-biking to the recumbent trike world. Fat, knobby tires, a sporty chassis, and long travel, independent wheel suspension make this trike ideal for tricks and maneuvers without sacrificing an ounce of safety. The standard differential means both rear wheels are driven, and with the bulk of the weight at the back of the trike, you’ll have no problem climbing the most challenging inclines. Our innovative derailleur system offers exceptional ground clearance and a wide range of gears to meet any condition. The adjustable ergonomic seat helps you put maximum power behind your pedals. As with the EVO STEPS, the CROSS easily folds into a hatchback-friendly package you can take on any adventure, near or far.
KETTWIESEL MODULARThe KETTWIESEL MODULAR recumbent trike is our entry-level version of the highly adaptable, flexible, and fun KETTWIESEL delta line. This chassis is built for stability and cornering ability, and is the most popular jumping-off point for customized adaptive riding. Comfort, safety and fun combine in this exceptional trike to offer an ideal blend of ergonomics, sportiness, and unlimited versatility.

TRIXA recumbent trike with a low center of gravity, the TRIX is so stable and agile that even riders with severe disabilities can master the controls… while looking effortlessly cool at the front of the pack. Recumbent trikes are particularly intuitive for kids to ride because they can see their legs. This helps a lot! The pedals are equipped with toe clips and straps to keep their feet from slipping off. Many other adaptive accessories, such as pedals with calf support, are also available.
AMAZING ACCESSORIESEach of the Hase delta recumbent trikes we’ve discussed has its own unique features and benefits, but they also have lots in common, including a wide array of accessories to make your ride uniquely your own. Shimano STEPS motors are available as original equipment or optional retrofit on many models. Roller bags, racks and baskets allow you to fetch and carry a surprising amount of cargo. Foldable fairings keep you on the road in less-than-ideal weather. Mounting brackets keep your GPS or cell phone on hand, hands-free. Specialized pedals and spoke protectors keep kids safe and secure. Walking stick holders, single hand controls, fixed gear hubs, and more provide adaptive mobility support for all abilities. The possibilities are endless!
Which Hase recumbent trike is best for you? Only you can decide! We recommend you find a Hase Bikes USA dealer near you and arrange a test ride. No matter where or how you ride, we know there’s a Hase recumbent trike that will delight you for years to come.
